Valentin "Tin" Rodriguez

Valentin "Tin" Rodriguez, 40, of Tucson, Arizona passed away on June 27, 2017 surrounded by loved ones at St. Mary's Hospital. He passed from complications stemming from a car accident he and his unborn daughter survived in 1995. Tin was born on February 23, 1977 at Torrejón Air Base in Spain to Anna M. and Jose E. Rodriguez. His favorite past times were watching the air shows featuring the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels, watching NASCAR or working the pits at Manzanita Raceway with his dad and friends. He loved listening to hip-hop and rap music, playing video games drinking a Dr. Pepper and smoking a cigarette. He was a lover of classic low rider cars and spending time with his dad restoring a 1954 Chevy Powerglide for the "Remember When" Car Club. Tin is survived by his daughter, Monica Rodriguez, 21 and parents; three sisters, Rachel Rodriguez (Spouse: Derrick Butcher); Lorraine Rodriguez (Spouse: Randy Best); Elaine Basco (Spouse: Clint Basco) and seven nieces and nephews, Haley Crowell-Rodriguez; Courtnea Crowell-Rodriguez; Natalie Basco; Jordan Basco; Nickolas Basco; Daelin Rodriguez-Butcher; and Jaena Rodriguez-Butcher. The family will be holding a private memorial service and thank everyone for the love and support during this difficult time.
