Yolanda "Yolie" Bonillas Sellers went home to heaven on December 22, 2019 surrounded by her family. She was a beautiful woman and was the life of any party. She was loved by all who knew her. Yolie attended the police academy, once she completed the rigors of the Academy she was one of two police woman to have been hired by the City of South Tucson. She broke the glass ceiling because back in the 70's being a police woman, well it was not typically done, however she did it. Yolie was survived by her six sisters, Mary Fierros, Julie "Winnie" (Rene) Aragon, Dolores "Chicky" (Robert) Gomez, Olivia (Armando) Teyechea, Josie (Frank) Lopez, and Estella (Armando) Salgado; her God-Children Priscilla Lopez, Robert Arvizu, Tomy Teyechea, and Gabriel Villa, and many nieces and nephews and her companion Bruce Sellers. She was preceded in death by her parents Casimiro and Josephine Bonillas and her sister Connie B. Lopez. We will all miss her 'Happy Go Lucky' attitude, she lived as she died, in her own words "I WANNA GO NOW". As soon as we have dates and times for the services we will post it. Thank you all for your prayers and support.
