Yvonne began her illustrious career as a bank teller at Southern Arizona Bank, which ultimately became Wells Fargo. For an incredible 45 years, she devoted her professional life to this institution, eventually retiring as a bank manager. Her commitment to her work was rivaled only by her passion for giving back, as she exemplified hard work and integrity throughout her career.
She graduated from Amphi High School in Tucson, Arizona, where she laid the foundation for a life filled with hard work and commitment to excellence. Yvonne's personality shone through in her many relationships; she was known as a very giving person, always willing to lend a hand to those in need. She took on the role of caregiver for her parents, Edwin and Josephine Brazill, showcasing her deep love for family and compassion for others.
Yvonne leaves behind a loving family, including her sisters, Christine Salazar (Peter), Diane (Richard), and Lisa Valenzuela (Luis), along with her brother, Mark Brazill (Leticia). She was cherished by 16 nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews, and countless friends, all of whom will miss her warmth and generosity.
In her spare time, Yvonne found joy in bowling, attending church, and, most importantly, spending time with her family. She also liked to escape to Laughlin, Arizona a couple times a year. Her dedication extended beyond her family as she volunteered at Sacred Heart Catholic Church for many years and was actively involved in community service through her work with Wells Fargo. Yvonne was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, contributing her time and talents to making the world a better place. Her culinary skills were a source of joy for her loved ones, who delighted in the great meals she prepared.
She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Edwin and Josephine Brazill; her brother, Rodney Brazill; and her great-nephew, Baby Gabriel Shelby.
